Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham Madison

As soon as I walked in, I had a great feeling about this stay. The esthetics were modern and cozy. The staff was incredible, both Brett and Tucker were outstanding with both their service and efforts to accommodate me on my stay and make it as seamless and comfortable as they possibly could. I recommend staying here to anyone visiting Madison. Thanks so much 🙏 oh! Plus the breakfast had tons of options if you're into that sort of thing.

Great water pressure, temperature & rain shower head. The room appointed with mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, & safe. Breakfast was inedible. Waffles stuck to maker. Sausage tasted horrible. No oatmeal, no cereal. Boiled eggs, bagels, toast, yogurt. The mattress was soft (See photo). And it was on top of metal spring (See photo) The pillows were fat and hard, not able to use. I'm not sure why all the reviews say this place is dirty- it is not. I think what people are seeing are the rub/scrape marks on the wall from luggage and luggage carts. If they used better quality paint, it wouldn't show so much. The front desk staff is deplorable. Not providing proper customer service. Unwelcoming, condescending. They have a mini bus that shuttles guests to Camp Randall, however after the game you have to wait for 1 hour. It was so terribly cold. Had we known ahead of time, we would have gotten ride share. We didn't use pool, when we walked by hot tub had lots of foam. Lobby is welcoming. Parking lot very well lit. I didn't think it was a dangerous neighborhood. The walls and floors are Very thin. You can hear everything from your neighbors.

If we come back to Madison, we will stay here again. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable, there was normal ware on the walls from luggage rubbing on it; not a huge deal! The shower was great and it was nice having a glass door instead of a cheap shower curtain that got the floor all wet. Honestly the only problem we had was that our key was programed only for one day instead of two; again not a huge deal! The staff was helpful at check in and the gal on the second night got our room key back up and running in no time. The cost was good and location wasn't in a busy area, a lot of places to eat near by!
